BILLINGS — Women’s health advocates, including President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana Martha Stahl and state legislators, praised Rob’s support for reproductive freedom while criticizing his opponent for supporting anti-woman causes at a roundtable in Billings yesterday.

Rob opposes all efforts to defund Planned Parenthood or to strip critical funding from women’s health care. He believes that a woman’s health care decisions should be made by her in consultation with her doctor, her family, and her faith — not politicians in Washington. And Rob is endorsed by Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana and NARAL Pro-Choice Montana.

“Montana women need a voice for them in the U.S. House, but they’ve consistently gotten the opposite,” said Rob Quist. “I’m running to keep politicians like my opponent from getting in between women and their doctor and to ensure all Montanans have access to quality health care.”

“It’s really clear which candidate in this race stands with Montana’s women and families, and will stand up for access to health care for Montana women. That’s absolutely Rob Quist,” said Martha Stahl, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana. “It was great to hear him talk about how these issues affect Montanans across the state and what they are to him personally but also to the voters he’s been talking with. That really contrasts with the policies Greg Gianforte has supported.”

“It was very refreshing to sit at the table with Rob who stands not only for Montana values but who stands up for Montana women,” said State Senator Jen Gross. “He understands what is important to us and stands up for women’s health care.”

Meanwhile, Rob’s opponent, New Jersey multi-millionaire Greg Gianforte, has consistently stood on the wrong side of issues concerning women’s health.
