HELENA — Days after Greg Gianforte wrote himself another six-figure check
to his flailing campaign, Rob Quist for Montana surpassed $6 million in grassroots, small-dollar donations — receiving $1 million in contributions in just five days.
“New Jersey multimillionaire Greg Gianforte has spent more than $7.5 million to try to buy Montana elections, on top of the money flooding into Montana by the supporters of D.C.’s disastrous health care bill. Rob believes that no one should face bankruptcy just because they get sick and that message is breaking through,” said Tina Olechowski, communications director for Rob Quist for Montana.
The campaign has received more than 260,000 individual contributions averaging just $23.
